Resort Accommodation

Hotel Manoir Victoria built in 1830  is located in the heart of Quebec city. The Hotel offers friendly service and contemporary elegance. Renovated in 2016! Upscale furniture, pool, etc

Upscale new bistro with well-renowned chef Jean-Luc Boulay and his new accomplice, Arnaud Marchand offers  a nordic-inspired cuisine that features regional products. It is a healthy and tasty cuisine where sous-vide cooking and cocotte-style presentation are in the spotlight. As a reminder, Mr. Arnaud Marchand was one of the 2 finalists in the 2010 season of Les Chefs TV series during which Chef Jean Luc Boulay, acting as a judge, was able to see and appreciate his potential. We offer optional dinner for New Year's evening in the hotel to try inspiring creations of Les Chefs before going to the outdoor party in the streets of Quebec City on Grande Allée - the best party in Canada! Try one of the hottest nearby nightclubs, such as Dagobert & Maurice. There will be dancing on the street and in the night clubs! Cold? When we are dancing together, we melt the snow and the ice!

Based on survey responses of last year's highlight of the trip - visit of Le Monastere des Augustines - we've added optional visit and tour of museum and lunch for those who will not ski on the last day - just before departure. Be inspired with love and compassion!

The hills and X-Country Trails

Mont Ste Anne : Mont-Sainte-Anne is renowned for its impeccable snow conditions, grooming and expert area. The skiable terrain includes 71 trails covering 73 kilometres spread across 3 sides of the mountain. Mont-Sainte-Anne has one of the largest snowmaking systems in the East. Lifts include 1 high speed gondola, 4 quad chairlifts (1 is high speed with bubble covers) and 4 surface lifts. Terrain breakdown: 21% Easy, 46% Intermediate, 20% Difficult, 13% Extreme

Mont-Ste-Anne Cross-country Ski Center offers the largest cross country area in Canada. It is nestled in the beautiful scenery of the Laurentian forest and features 200 km of trails, including a 191 km network for skate skiing. Over 30 km of snowshoeing trails with varying degrees of difficulty including loops and trails are reachable from he base of Mont-Sainte-Anne.

Le Massif : Hold your breath when skiing at Le Massif! With a vertical drop of 770 metres (2526 ft) and runs overlooking the St. Lawrence River, Le Massif is the most spectacular ski resort east of the Rockies. It has the highest vertical in Eastern Canada. Apart from a big vertical drop and lots of snow, Le Massif de Charlevoix’s main claim to fame is that the area is accessible both from the top and from the base. No matter what your level, you will enjoy the scenic views at the top and ski right down to the banks of the river.

Le Sentier des Caps de Charlevoix’s cross-country and snowshoe trails located at the top of the Massif de Charlevoix, at an altitude of 800 meters, offers 27km of trails which meander through boreal and ancient forests with spectacular riverside and mountain views. A great way to enjoy the region’s gorgeous nature.

Stoneham: We are coming back to this favorite hill on the day of departure - optional, for dedicated skiers. There are 41 trails covering 333 hectares (820 acres) over four mountains.

Charlesbourg XC Centre:  Located just outside of Quebec City, Charlesbourg offers 30K of cross-country ski trails, 15K of snowshoe trails and 18K of hardpacked winter hiking trails that wind through mixed forest and along a river. There is a snack bar, warming hut and a range of rental equipment.

Departure: On Friday December 30, 2015 from Yonge & York Mills, Toronto at 9:30am and 10:00am from Scarborough; on Monday January 2, 2017 from the hotel, at 2:00pm; and 3:00pm from Stoneham resort.

Transportation to Québec city and to the ski areas will be by luxury coach.
