Overall Schedule

N27 originally to Scenic Caves then switched to Hardwood on Saturday March 25th is CANCELLED due to low registration numbers (likely in turn due to the poor weather forecast)

For those die-hards that want to drive up, I would suggest you check the conditions after the freezing rain overnight and rain and 8C weather tomorrow. If they don't materialize or don't destroy the last of Hardwood's base, then contact others on Facebook or by emailing crosscountry@hpsc.ca and I can post a message. Arrowhead might be getting snow Saturday, so you could also check there as well.

Considering the up and down winter weather we've had this year, it turned out to be a pretty good ski season. Hopefully everyone had lots of fun skiing and snowshoeing and hanging out with friends in the club! Come out to the Apres Ski Season and Summer events and make sure to join HPSC again next Fall. Have a wonderful off-season until we meet again!

HPSC Nordic Bus Captain Announcement for N27
on March 25, 2017

Today is the last day trip of the scheduled season. Let’s have a round of applause for Monica and her team who make the often difficult decisions about weather and where to send a bus full of skiers and snowshoers itching to get out on the snow. Thanks to you and all of the volunteers on the Nordic side of the club, we’ve had another fabulous season.

Mark your calendars for our annual Summer Fun In The Sun event on Thursday, April 13 at 7:30 pm at the Lithuanian Hall. Booths will be set up highlighting the summer programmes of various clubs and vendors around the GTA, including cycling, hiking and water sports. Check the HPSC website for details. This event is free for both members and guests.

Lastly, on Saturday evening, May 13, HPSC is holding its annual Apres Winter Gala dinner and dance, celebrating yet another fabulous winter and Canada’s 150th birthday. The “City of Stars” Dance Gala will be held at the National Yacht Club starting at 6:00 pm, with dinner at 7:00 pm, and dancing ‘til the wee hours. Online registration for members and guests is currently open at the early bird price of $80 per person. The dinner menu and the event schedule can be found on the online registration page.

Thank you.
