High Park Ski Club

How do you learn to love winter? Skiing, snowboarding, or snowshoeing is just part of the answer. The other part is building lifelong relationships with your fellow High Park Ski Club members. Winter sports or year round activities are better enjoyed with great friends and that’s where we come in!

Social Events

Our club is well known for its trips, lessons, and socials! Social events are a great way to network and build lasting friendships within the club. Our group activities are built to promote social mingling, networking and connecting with like-minded people. At our member events, you will quickly get to know existing members and be made to feel part of the group. So many of our members have developed lasting friendships and life-long memories within our club!

We arrange social gatherings for all ages, with a range of activities from Annual General Meeting - warm gathering of friends, Annual Climb The Mountain Hiking day trip at Blue Mountain, HaPpy Hours and more! Since the beginning of this pandemic, High Park Ski Club has said it will follow the stated public health guidelines.

While the current provincial RED zone regulations allows outdoor gatherings of up to 25 people with appropriate physical distancing (which is the maximum we have allowed in our weekly SkiFit sessions), the City of Toronto has outlined additional restrictions, and Mayor Tory has emphasized, means that any gathering, even for outdoor fitness (which is allowed), should be restricted to only members of your own household.

Therefore, it is with great reluctance that we have to cancel the final two SkiFit sessions.

By TTC: Just a few minutes walk south from the High Park subway station.
By Car: Free parking is available throughout High Park.

What to bring? Wear running or walking shoes and apparel to suit the weather. Hiking poles if you have them (optional).
