Where are the pickup locations

See the downhill day trips pickup locations web page for all the details about our usual pickup locations.

What time does the bus leave the resorts?

Departure times will be confirmed by the bus captains on the respective trips, but generally they are:

  • MSLM Saturdays - 5:00pm
  • Blue Mountain Sundays - 4:30pm
  • Blue Mountain / Private Club Weekdays - 4:00pm

General Bus Guidelines

  • Before boarding the bus, confirm that it is a High Park Ski Club bus, and going to your expected destination.
  • Do not place boots in the overhead bins.
  • Do not sit on the arm rests
  • Do not leave garbage on the bus.  Leave your seat the same or in better condition than when you first occupied it.
  • One bus bin is dedicated for Instructors.  If you are not an instructor, load your bags in the non-instructor bin.
  • Close all overhead compartments before the bus leaves a pickup point.
  • Take care when opening overhead compartments as items may shift during the trip and potentially fall.
  • Be courteous to the person behind you when you recline your seat.
  • Note your bus number, as you need to be on the same bus when you depart the resort.
  • Remember where you are sitting, as you will need to sit in the same seat on the return.
  • If you are not returning with the bus, please let the bus captain know as early as possible.

Arriving at the resort

  • If you purchased a lift ticket through the club, the bus captain will let you know how to retrieve it (for MSLM trips, a form needs to be filled out in advance).
  • Make a note of the assessment and lesson times, as well as the meeting place, as announced by the bus captain.
  • Let instructors off the bus first, as they need to prepare for lessons.
  • Do not lean your equipment on the bus when offloading at the resort. This can damage the bus.
  • The bus is not open while at the resort.  Take everything you need for the day with you.
  • You are welcome to take your ski bag into the resort, or you can leave it on the bus.

End of the day

  • The bus will open for loading approximately 30 minutes before departure.
  • Take care in walking back to the bus in case of slippery conditions.
  • Make sure you are on the same bus that brought you to the resort, noting the bus number at the start of the day.
  • Do not load full ski bags over empty bags that may still be in the bus bin.
  • Load your equipment in the appropriate bin for your drop off location.
  • Sit in the same seat as you did in the morning until after the bus captain has completed their head count.
  • Take all your belongings with you when you depart the bus.  Anything left on the bus after all members have departed will have to be picked up at the bus depot (either Etobicoke or Burlington depending on where the bus is based out of).
  • Take care in retrieving your equipment, many ski bags look the same in the dark and when you are tired.
