Winter is a fantastic time to get out and discover all the opportunities available in southern Ontario to indulge or discover your snowy passions – be it downhill or cross-country skiing, snowboarding or snowshoeing. While this season maybe a little different than in the past, we plan on still organizing daytrips for our members.
Throughout the winter, every week we schedule weekend and mid-week trips to local public and private resorts and that will continue for the upcoming season.
For the 2020/21 season, on the alpine side, each resort has indicated they will be running at reduced capacity to maintain social distancing, both on the hill and in the lodge. However, we have been promised a set number of the limited daily spots for our planned day trips. As a result, both members on the bus, and those who choose to drive up, will need to register through HPSC for your spot at the hill. Drive-up members will qualify for the Club group rate. Those with passes will also need to register with HPSC even if you are driving-up, to ensure your spot on the hill.
We make the most of what is within reach of Toronto! If you don’t own a car, or just don’t want to drive up to the hill, you can still get out and enjoy your favourite winter sports. From convenient pick-up locations around Toronto (most with easy TTC access, as well as parking), we run luxury coaches to a variety of hills in Ontario.
This season we plan to run our buses at a reduced capacity to ensure social distancing. All members will be required to wear masks while on the bus, and to remain seated as much as possible. Buses will be fully cleaned by electrostatic spraying by Pacific Western, our bus company, prior to each trip. After arriving at the resorts, the driver will clean and wipe down all high touch areas including seats, windows, window ledges, overhead bins, etc. on the bus. And the washroom will be fully disinfected.
This season, due to the reduced capacity at resorts and our buses, all trips will be for HPSC members ONLY. We will not be offering Test Drive or Bring a Friend days.
And as always free lessons are available to all members on day trips!
High Park Ski Club arranges the most weekend/week-long trips to Eastern resorts of any Toronto area ski club. In 2020/2021 we will organize 6 overnight trips. Due to the ongoing pandemic situation in the United States, all weekend/week-long trips will be to Quebec resorts.
Long-distance travel by bus at this time is not desired by many members, and running overnight bus trips at a reduced capacity of members is not economical; therefore our 2021 overnight trips have been organized for those who can arrange travel to the resorts on their own. There will be no luxury coach for overnight trips as in previous years. Outdoor parking is available at all resorts at no charge. As well, High Park Ski Club will not be matching roommates on overnight trips this season.
We are the only ski club that offers free lessons from our own CSIA/CANSI certified instructors for downhill and cross-country skiing on all overnight trips. Some trips also offer guided cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or snowboarding for intermediate and advance members.
If you are not sure if you want to ski/ride all of the days or if you have purchased a multi-resort pass such as the Ikon pass, some trips offer a social-only option which allows you the ability to purchase your lift tickets independently (or use your multi-resort pass). So you can decide on the spot if you want to ski, explore town, shop, or participate in other available activities.
High Park Ski Club offers the most extensive line-up of charter trips each season of any ski club in the Toronto area. In 2020/2021 we are running 5 charter trips. Due to COVID-19, all charter trips will be to resorts in Western Canada. We ensure that the trips are the best combination of adventure, price, and value.

Due to the current pandemic, for this season High Park Ski Club will not be arranging roommates.
