High Park Ski Club

Day trips are at the heart of the High Park experience! Getting skiers and boarders out every week is what we do. Sign up for a trip to a local resort, sit back and relax as we get you there and back by luxury coach, leaving you to focus on fun on the slopes.

Downhill Day Trips

An update on the 2020/2021 season

There will be no downhill day trips while Toronto is in the grey or red zone including buses and drive-ups.

We are busy planning and fully committed to offer HPSC members fun and safe downhill day trips this season. Hills are fully committed to being open and offering skiing and snowboarding, and are excited to welcome back HPSC skiers and snowboarders. As expected, hills will have COVID policies in place for this unprecedented season. The following policies will be in place for all members:

  • Bus and drive-up members will be required to register and pay for their lift tickets through HPSC in advance of the day trip. Members will specify if they require a lift ticket and/or lesson. Members will passes (e.g. Blue Mountain 5x7, Mount St.Louis Moonstone Podium Pass, IKON) will still be required to register through HPSC for a lesson.
  • Members must complete a COVID-19 screener the morning of their day trip. This will be completed online, and a link will be provided in the trip email members receive on Thursday or Monday evenings.
  • Masks will be mandatory on the bus, inside all buildings at hills, in lift lines and on the chair lifts. We strongly recommend keeping your mask on while skiing.
  • Members must be prepared to be outside all day. Lodges will be open in an extremely limited capacity, with only washrooms and grab and go food options available. Buses will be open for 30 minute lunch seatings with only max 10 members at a time.

Membership sign up for the season is now open. You can sign up and if you don’t use your membership (i.e. sign up for a long trip or day trip, take a lesson) by the end of January and you don’t want to use your membership the rest of the year, you can email us (membership@hpsc.ca) by 11:59pm on February 1st to get it deferred to the following season. Doing this will not affect your quest towards a 25-year membership.

High Park Ski Club day trips offers an easy and fun way to get out on the hills. Our volunteers and instructors organize fun and friendly trips no matter your ski level!

  • All trips offer free lessons with CSIA/CASI certified instructors for both skiers and snowboarders. Click here for more information on our Snow School lessons and programs.
  • Skiers and boarders are placed into one of our STEP levels which allows you to meet skiers and boarders of similar abilities and skills.
  • We run four downhill day trips per week – Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Wednesday, to Blue Mountain, Mount St. Louis Moonstone, and private clubs such as Alpine, Osler, Craigleith, Beaver Valley, and Georgian Peaks. Learn more.
  • We offer the option of using various season passes including the Ikon pass and resort specific passes (e.g. Blue Mountain, Mount St. Louis Moonstone).
  • Return bus transportation is available from multiple convenient locations around Toronto.
  • No upcoming events

“I’ve been a HPSC member for two years now and I joined to get to the ski hills (as I don’t drive), learn how to ski, meet new people and the club has delivered in all aspects! I’ve gone on my first big ski trip to Banff last season where thanks to the lessons, I was able to fully enjoy skiing in Banff with the group of people I met at the club! I’d highly recommend the club if you’re looking to meet like-minded people, increasing your ski skills and enjoying winter to the fullest!”   Dorothy W.
