If you see a “Join Waitlist” button instead of the “Register” button, do not think that you have missed out. Go ahead and add your name to the waitlist; there is no cost to do so. We try to accommodate everybody on the waitlists by obtaining more space on each trip.     Trip Type: Cross-Country and Snowshoeing

    Cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. Regular lessons for classic and skate and guided snowshoeing will be offered.

    Registration opens February 26 @ 9pm.

    Conditions: it will be warm and slushy! Come hang out in the sun and enjoy what might be our last ski with the club.

    Registration is still open...we will close it sometime on Thursday when we decide to do the paperwork for the weekend. After that, you'll have to walk on if you want to come.

    About Hardwood

    Hardwood has beautiful trails for both skiing and snowshoeing. The main chalet is a beautiful building with indoor dining facilities and washrooms. Bag storage is available outside the main washrooms in the basement of the chalet. Rental equipment is located across from the main chalet. Hot food will also be available. There is also a bar service with beer and wine options.

    New: Hardwood has implemented a Non-Fluoro Wax Policy. For details click here.

    RENTERS: Renters must book their rentals online directly from Hardwood. The instructions for how to do it and the code to get the discount will be provided a couple days prior to the trip. We recommend that you don't book until close to the trip anyway to ensure the trip is running and you will be on it.

    Everyone must also fill out a waiver and bring it on the bus.

    What's included

    • Regular lessons (Classic & Skate L1-5)
    • Guided snowshoeing
    • Luxury return coach to the resort
    • Group rates on trail passes
    • Drop off will start at Hwy 400/7 and then will go straight to Keele station (and then to Davenport and up Yonge). You may want to get off at Keele station and take the subway from there

    • Recommended: Masks be worn on the bus.
    • Guests allowed.
    • Please choose your registration options carefully. You will be unable to change them after registering. Questions with a star next to them are mandatory and require a response, before registration can proceed.

    Cancellation Policy

    Conditions: soft, slushy spring snow again! With all the snow that Hardwood received they should be open for one last go at spring skiing! This seems like it would be the last club trip of the season, so come out and enjoy a last day with your ski friends.

    Guest may be allowed depending on how registrations go. We will update on Tuesday evening if it will be allowed.

    No better way to spend a Saturday than with HPSC at Mount St. Louis Moonstone!

    We will no longer be offering rentals as part of day trip registrations. If you need equipment rentals, please go directly to MSLM website to purchase:  https://shop.mountstlouis.com/rentals/

    Important Notes:

    • After registering, go to the following link on the MSLM website and fill out the online form: https://mountstlouis.com/high-park/register/
    • You must fill out the form by the Wednesday prior, otherwise your lift ticket card will not be printed. You will need to pay full price in person plus $5 lift card charge.
    • If you have a season pass, you do not need to fill out the online form.

            Join us for a fun day on a Sunday!    

            NOTE: Members may drive to the resort and participate in lessons.  However, they MUST register under the separate Drive-up event which are on the Events list. 

            This trip registration opens on Saturday, March 16th at 7:30pm.

            This trip registration closes on Tuesday, March 19th at 6pm.

            Drive-ups must purchase their lift ticket on their own through https://www.bluemountain.ca/

            Once a member is registered for the trip, they will receive an email shortly before the trip with lesson times and meeting location details.

            Lesson Information 

            • You must register for a lesson in advance. If there are no spaces for registration, we have hit capacity. No drop-in lessons.
            • Assessments start at 10:20am outside the South Base Lodge
            • Lessons are held from 11:00 - 1:00; please join the line up 10 minutes before lesson start time
            • Meet at 10:50am outside the South Base Lodge (near the Southern Comfort Chairlift). Rentals are available here.
            • If you have not skied in a season but already know your STEP, go into that STEP (no need to move back a STEP - many skiers are in the same boat!)

            Important Notes:

            • If the trip is full, please sign up for the waitlist. With enough people, we will add a second bus.
            • For exact pick up locations and times, please make sure to read the Trip Status email you will receive a couple of days prior to the trip and to read the Trip Status page on the website.

            • Bus $35 (including hst)
