Combo trip with downhilll run according to the Wednesday trip model.
Note: TTC subway from Lawrence to St Clair is closed on March 23. Provide yourself ample time to get to pick-up point.
If you are still keen to ski (and conditions are still skiable), XC skiers can hitch a ride with the downhill bus on Mar. 23rd. Expect solid spring ski conditions - fast (i.e. perhaps a bit icy) in the am, and soft in the pm with above zero temps.
Where are we going? Highlands Nordic. The downhill bus is going to Devil's Glen.
Please note that conditions are highly unpredictable in March. If Highlands isn't good, we can go to Scenic Caves. You should ok with either scenario.
You will register on the downhill day trip page, only paying for the bus. You will buy your own trail pass and rentals (if necessary) at the resort. NO LESSONS.
Note that this trip uses downhill pick-up locations & times (no Davenport stop; pick-up times are earlier; leave the resort earlier).
More information will be communicated as it becomes available.
Heather will be on the trip and will act as informal XC group leader.
