High Park Ski Club is Toronto's longest-standing adult ski and snowboard club, offering decades of experience, thrilling excursions, expert organization, a vibrant community, diverse activities, and unbeatable value.

Welcome to the High Park Ski Club. 

It is now time to renew your membership!  Notices were emailed on September 1. 

After logging in you will be directed to update your Profile pageClick on RENEW Membership at the bottom.

On the profile page, you need to review and acknowledge the Club Code of Conduct and a message that you must sign the e-waiver that will be emailed to you.  As well please update any changes, such as email address, address, preferences and areas you are willing to help out in. 

After you renew your membership you will be sent an email confirmation regarding your membership AND an email from "HPSC Membership vis PANDADOC" with the e-waiver.  Your membership is not active until you e-sign the waiver. 

Up coming social events:

  • Skifit and Brunch kicks off in High Park on Saturday September 6th.  Registration opens on each Tuesday.
  • Karaoke night at Scruffy Murphy's Irish Pub (Etobicoke) on Friday October 17th.

Charter Airline Trips & Overnight Bus Trips, 2025-2026 Season

If you see a “Join Waitlist” button instead of the “Register” button, do not think that you have missed out. Go ahead and add your name to the waitlist; there is no cost to do so. We try to accommodate everybody on the waitlists by obtaining more space on each trip.     WELCOME BACK TO ANOTHER SEASON OF HPSC SKIFIT!!! 

    Come enjoy the outdoors and make new friends. This is a free, fun and social event with athletic activities to suit a variety of fitness levels. We have something for everyone who wants to start getting ready for winter. 

    All members and potential members are welcome!

    New to SkiFit:  Roller Skiing Instruction! 

    If you are interested in trying Part 1 or Part 2 of the Intro to Roller Skiing workshop, please register and choose the Roller Ski Instruction option.  We have a limited number of roller skis for borrow.  Note that it is mandatory that you bring their own protection gear (helmet, glasses, gloves, elbow and knee pads) and NNN boots.

    There are four spots to borrow roller skis.  If you have your own equipment and want to join the lesson, please register as normal for SkiFit.

    To get a sense of how many members to expect please register.  Registration will open each week on the Tuesday prior to the session (Tuesday October 21st).


    8:55 am Meet in High Park, under the trees on the north side of the Grenadier Restaurant parking lot. See map below.

    9:00 am A fun warm up with introductions.  Includes agility and balance exercises.

    9:15 am We head off to enjoy a variety of activities. Walk, run, Nordic pole walking...  We have groups for every fitness level.  Nordic pole walking guidance offered.  Bring your own walking poles. 

    10:30 am A stretching session led by our volunteers, and announcements of upcoming events.

    11:00 am Brunch!!!!! The Grenadier Restaurant is open for full services.  

    Ski Fit is a free program for all club members and potential members. Register and come check us out. We meet rain or shine. Wet weather can be even more fun as we benefit from the leafy tree canopy and park shelters.

    Getting Here

    Location: 180 Colborne Lodge Dr., Toronto. In the centre of High Park. Meet on the North side of the Grenadier parking lot, under the trees.

    By TTC: Just a few minutes walk south from the High Park subway station.
    By Car: According the the High Park website, the park is closed to vehicles on the weekend. If driving you will need to find a parking space outside of the park.

    What to bring? Wear running or walking shoes and apparel to suit the weather. Hiking poles if you have them (optional).

    In this virtual information session for new, prospective, and returning HPSC members, you'll learn about: 

    • our day trips to beautiful nordic centres outside the GTA (hint: we don't ski in High Park!)
    • free cross-country skiing lessons
    • guided snowshoeing experiences  
    • equipment rentals 
    • appropriate clothing 
    • our schedule of social events and activities 
    • other benefits to being a member of High Park Ski Club

    Registration is required. Participants will receive a Zoom link the day before the event.

    Thursday November 6th

    You are invited to come and learn about High Park Ski Club, Canada's most active travelling ski club! 

    Free registration.  Finger food will be available and the first 100 registrants will receive a free drink ticket.  

    Just some reasons to consider joining HPSC this winter . . .

    Multiple daytrips each week (4 downhill and 2 cross-country/snowshoeing trips) as well as 17 overnight and charter trips this season

    Free lessons included in membership!  Free lessons for all levels by our own downhill, snowboard and cross-country nationally certified club instructors. We also offer guided snowshoeing!

    Want to improve specific aspects of your skiing? Our snow school runs a variety of targeted lesson series as well as an Instructor Training series. We also have a race program!

    Don’t own a car or just don’t want to drive all the way to the resorts? Leave the driving up to professionals! We have convient pick up locations by coach buses in the west end, central Toronto and Vaughan.  

    Have your friends stopped skiing/snowboarding? Or did you stop and now want to get back to it? HPSC provides you the opportunity to continue or return to the sport and meet others who share your love of winter.

    Don’t want to ski/board alone?  On day trips get to know others at your level in our free lessons. We also offer guided skiing by HPSC volunteers on overnight bus trips.

    Get ready for the season and catch-up with other members! Starting in September HPSC runs a fun and social preseason fitness program every Saturday morning in High Park (SkiFit and Brunch). Want a more intense preseason preparation? We arrange for group crossfit sessions with a high level ski specific fitness trainer on Sunday evenings (October and November).

    Social events throughout the year! Pub nights, holiday party, special Après daytrips, a special end of season party and summer outings.

    Have questions during your first year? All new members are assigned a New Member Ambassador, so you have a personal contact to guide you through your first year.

    People join for the activities but return year after year due to the friendships they make!
