Welcome to the High Park Ski Club. 

Membership renewal is now open for the 2024/25 season. 

The renewal rate for last seasons members is $170 (+HST). The rate for New Member remails at $155 (+HST) for the entire season.

High Park Ski Club offers free lessons at all levels for all members on all our trips. Our ski (CSIA, CANSI) and snowboard (CASI) instructors are fully certified, guaranteeing you the highest standard of instruction and allowing you to quickly improve your skiing and boarding skills.

Charter Airline Trips & Overnight Bus Trips, 2024-2025 Season

If you see a “Join Waitlist” button instead of the “Register” button, do not think that you have missed out. Go ahead and add your name to the waitlist; there is no cost to do so. We try to accommodate everybody on the waitlists by obtaining more space on each trip.     EXTENDED due to popular demand!

    HPSC Crossfit is a great way to get into top shape for the upcoming ski/ snowboard/ snowshoe season.  

    The series runs for 8 weeks, beginning Sunday October 20, 2024 at 5pm. 

    Each workout emphasizes strength, power, speed, agility, coordination, mobility, flexibility and --most importantly--proper form for injury prevention.  All exercises can be modified based on participants' fitness and comfort levels. 

    Where: CrossFit Eglinton - Side Unit, 881 Eglinton Ave. W. Easily accessible by TTC (10 minute walk from Eglinton West station).  Free parking is available on Peveril Hill, Chiltern Hill and Dewbourne.

    When: Sundays, Oct 20-Dec. 8, 5pm

    How muchThese classes are normally $30 per class when bought as a package, but HPSC is offering them to members for $15!

    What to bring: Comfortable gym clothes, clean/ indoor running shoes, water and towel. 

    The staff currently train athletes from many sports. They implement strength and conditioning programs for both performance enhancement and injury prevention for athletes of ALL levels.

    CrossFit Eglinton / SXS Fitness is also an official partner of Alpine Ontario where they provide fitness testing and contribute to weekly articles on a wide variety of topics ranging from stress relief tactics to nutrition to the best exercises/stretches to do at home.

    The session starts promptly at 5:00, and runs for 1 hour. 

    If you are new to the series, please be sure to arrive early to fill out your SXS waiver forms.  We'd hate for you to miss out on the warm up.

    In this virtual information session for new and prospective members you'll learn about: 

    • our day trips to beautiful nordic centres outside the GTA (hint: we don't ski in High Park!)
    • free cross-country skiing lessons 
    • equipment rentals 
    • our schedule of social events and activities 
    • other benefits to being a member of High Park Ski Club

    There are three sessions to choose from so pick the one that works best for your schedule. Registration is required. Participants will receive a Zoom link the day before the event.

    Meet up with your HPSC friends during the Holiday Season!

    This is an informal pay as you go get together for those who are in town during the holiday season. Catch-up with friends, plan upcoming ski days, play pool or just hang out. 

    "The Crooked Cue offers a relaxed, fun, and upscale environment, boasting over 10,000 square feet of restaurant, billiards, and special event venue. This is not your average pool hall. It is an award winning design that has been featured on Canada's Top Pool Halls on the CBC and TSN. Like being in Ralph Lauren's Den with pool tables, the inspired interior serves as the playfield for hand-carved mahogany tables, cozy fireplaces and wing chair lounges. The Crooked Cue is groups looking for great food, entertaining billiards, perfectly poured international beers, and award winning wines."

    The historic Crooked Cue Etobicoke located just east of Royal York and Bloor St. W. in The Kingsway neighbourhood.

    NOTE: The Crooked Cue is on the second floor with a set of very steep steps.  There is no elevator.

    Pool table rental is $25 per table, per hour. Pool tables are available on a first come, first served basis.

    Please register so we have a sense of how many people to expect.  Guests are welcome.

    About Scenic Caves

    There are trails for every ability level.  We will have our own cabin where we will be able to store our belongings and have our lunch. There are also bathroom facilities outside the cabin. Please bring your lunch, snacks, and water. There is a snack bar in the main building but we cannot guarantee that there will be food available for purchase. Scenic Caves offers rental packages (classic skis, skate skis, and snowshoes).

    • Luxury return coach to the resort
    • Group rates on trail passes and rentals

    Highlands has a wonderful cafeteria offering hot soup, sandwiches, hot and cold drinks, and home-made snacks (you may prefer to bring your own food). They also have one of the better pro shops. Highlands offers terrific rental packages (classic skis, skate skis and snowshoes).

    About Hardwood

    Hardwood has beautiful trails for both skiing and snowshoeing. The main chalet is a beautiful building with indoor dining facilities and washrooms. Bag storage is available outside the main washrooms in the basement of the chalet. Rental equipment is located across from the main chalet. Hot food will also be available. There is also a bar service with beer and wine options.

    Hardwood has implemented a Non-Fluoro Wax Policy. For details click here.

    RENTERS: Renters must book their rentals online directly from Hardwood. The instructions for how to do it and the code to get the discount will be provided a couple days prior to the trip. We recommend that you don't book until the night before to ensure the trip is running and you will be on it.

    Everyone must also fill out a waiver and bring it on the bus.
