Trip Type: Cross-Country and Snowshoeing

This is a Combo trip (with the downhill group), using cross-country pick-up locations & times (please note that even though it is a Saturday, the drop off order at the end of the day will start at 400/7 and end at Bloor/Indian Rd.). 

We've had an early start to winter, but please note that early season conditions can be challenging for beginners. We recommend that participants have some cross-country skiing experience, especially because there are no lessons on this trip. 

About Hardwood Hills

Hardwood has a new chalet! This is exciting, but we are not entirely sure what it will include. We imagine there will be a cafeteria for lunch and certainly a pro shop, but you may want to bring your own food for this first trip just in case the chalet isn't fully operational yet. 

Hardwood offers rental packages (classic skis, skate skis and snowshoes).

What's included

How to register

• You will only pay for the bus for this trip. You will pay for your trail pass and rentals (if needed) individually at the resort. We will be a small group and don't qualify for group rates. 
• You will register on the downhilll day trip module for this trip. This page is only meant to provide you with XC ski and snowshoe details. 
• To register, go to the Downhill Day Trip Page and select Trip A1902 (14 December 2019) - LINK HERE
• Register for the trip. Under lift ticket options, choose "none". Under bus options choose "XC bus - $30".  Complete your booking, including payment online (deadline is 6:00 PM on the Thursday before the trip).

• Please read the choices carefully. Questions with a star next to them are mandatory and require a response, before registration can proceed.

Be My Guest

This is a Bring a Friend trip! Members may bring guests for a $20 fee (for each guest). Members may register and pay for their guest starting on Thursday at 12:01 AM. Please print copy of the waiver and have your guest sign it before arrival.

To register a guest, first complete your own registration. Then after Thursday at 12:01 AM, open the event again and click New Registration. You will then be able to register your guest.

Please note: Normally XC only allows one guest. But, because this is a downhill run trip, more than one guest is allowed.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your registration up until 8 PM the Wednesday before the trip (for this trip: Wed., Dec 11, 2019). You must email cancellations@hpsc.ca for the cancellation to be processed. For more information on how to cancel, visit the Cross-Country FAQ page.
