Trip Type: Cross-Country and Snowshoeing

NOTE: This trip will be going to Scenic Caves - better conditions and easier to coordinate with our downhill friends. 

This is a Combo trip (with the downhill group), using downhill pick-up locations & times (no Davenport stop; pick-up times are earlier; leave the resort earlier). 

We've had an early start to winter, but please note that early season conditions can be challenging for beginners. We recommend that participants have some cross-country skiing experience, especially because there are no lessons on this trip. 

About Scenic Caves 

Scenic Caves is a wonderful ski and snowshoe destination. You may want to bring a lunch as they have limited food options for purchase. 

What's included

• Luxury return coach to the resort
• Rental packages available at the resort.
• No lessons on this trip.

How to register

• You will only pay for the bus for this trip. You will pay for your trail pass and rentals (if needed) individually at the resort. We will be a small group and don't qualify for group rates. 
• You will register on the downhilll day trip module for this trip. This page is only meant to provide you with XC ski and snowshoe details. 
• To register, go to the Downhill Day Trip Page and select Trip A1905 (22 December 2019) - LINK HERE
• Register for the trip. Under lift ticket options, choose "none". Under bus options choose "XC bus - $30".  Complete your booking, including payment online (deadline is 6:00 PM on the Thursday before the trip).

• This is a bus registration only (no drive ups)
• Please read the choices carefully. Questions with a star next to them are mandatory and require a response, before registration can proceed.

Be My Guest

This is a Bring a Friend trip! Members may bring guests for a $20 fee (for each guest). Members may register and pay for their guest starting on Thursday at 12:01 AM. Please print copy of the waiver and have your guest sign it before arrival.

To register a guest, first complete your own registration. Then after Thursday at 12:01 AM, open the event again and click New Registration. You will then be able to register your guest.

Please note: Normally XC only allows one guest. But, because this is a downhill run trip, more than one guest is allowed.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your registration up until 8 PM the Wednesday before the trip (for this trip: Wed., Dec 18, 2019). You must email cancellations@hpsc.ca for the cancellation to be processed. For more information on how to cancel, visit the Cross-Country FAQ page.
