Trip Type: Cross-Country and Snowshoeing

Cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. Regular lessons for classic and skate and guided snowshoeing will be offered.

Registration opens February 12 at 9pm.

Note: This trip is replacing one to Wasaga as we don't think Wasaga will open. If it does magically open with good conditions, then we will switch it back to give us some variety.

Conditions should be good - there is lots of snow in the forecast and temps should remain cool.

About Hardwood

Hardwood has beautiful trails for both skiing and snowshoeing. The main chalet is a beautiful building with indoor dining facilities and washrooms. Bag storage is available outside the main washrooms in the basement of the chalet. Rental equipment is located across from the main chalet. Hot food will also be available. There is also a bar service with beer and wine options.

RENTERS: Renters must book their rentals online directly from Hardwood. The instructions for how to do it and the code to get the discount will be provided a couple days prior to the trip. We recommend that you don't book until close to the trip anyway to ensure the trip is running and you will be on it.

Everyone must also fill out a waiver and bring it on the bus.

• Drop off will start at Hwy 400/7 and then will go straight to Keele station (and then to Davenport and up Yonge). You may want to get off at Keele station and take the subway from there

• Recommended: Masks be worn on the bus.

• Please choose your registration options carefully. You will be unable to change them after registering. Questions with a star next to them are mandatory and require a response, before registration can proceed.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your registration up until 8 PM the Tuesday before the trip (for this trip: Tues., January 23, 2024). You must email cancellations@hpsc.ca for the cancellation to be processed. For more information on how to cancel, visit the Cross-Country FAQ page.
