Trip Type: Cross-Country and Snowshoeing (Drive up)

Cross-country skiing. Regular lessons (Classic & Skate L1-5) will be offered. Guided snowshoeing will not be offered.

Registration opens Sunday, January 11 at 8:00 pm

Register here if you are DRIVING UP and want to take a lesson. You will only sign up for your lesson; you must pay for your trail pass and rentals (if needed) at the resort. Resorts do not give group rates to drive ups; please respect this and do not ask at the resort.

If you want to drive up but not take a lesson, do not register.

About Kawartha Nordic

Kawartha Nordic, located near Peterborough, has 46km of classic trails, 27km of skate trails, and 9km of snowshoe trails. The trails are ideal for beginner and intermediate skiers (few tough hills!) and there are lovely warm-up cabins along the trails, complete with chickadees. There is a lovely chalet, but no food available so please pack lunch, snacks, and enough water for the day (there is often water, but we can't guarantee it). Kawartha offers rental packages (classic skis, skate skis and snowshoes).

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your registration up until 8 PM the Tuesday before the trip (for this trip: Tue., January 20, 2026). For your lesson, please email xcskischool@hpsc.ca.
