Regular cross-country skiing and snowshoe trip. Regular lessons will be offered, as well as guided snowshoeing.
This trip will open for registration on February 4, 2022 at 9 am.
By signing up for this trip, members agree to follow HPSC's COVID-19 policies and procedures at all times while on the trip. Please review prior to the cancellation deadline to ensure you are able to comply with all the policies and procedures.
There are trails for every ability level. The chalet is open for patrons to warm up, use the washrooms, or browse the retail area. However, people will not be able to consume food and drink inside the chalet. So be prepared to spend most of your time outside and to use the bus as the home base (to get ready and store your bags etc.). We recommend that members bring water, snacks, and lunch. The cafe is NOT operational. Given the limited indoor space, we also recommend that members bring a small pack with extra food and dry clothes (socks, mitts, base layers) to ski/snowshoe with. Highlands offers rental packages (classic skis, skate skis, and snowshoes).
Highlands requires that people wear a mask indoors, and outdoors within 50 metres of the chalet, but masks can be taken off while on the trails.

Please see here for an explanation of lesson level to help you make the right choice. There is also more information on lessons in general in the FAQs.
You can cancel your registration up until 8 PM the Tuesday before the trip (for this trip: Tues., February 8, 2022). You must email cancellations@hpsc.ca for the cancellation to be processed. For more information on how to cancel, visit the Cross-Country Cancellation Policy page.
